Karen Dolan holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. She has completed graduate level courses in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Business Law, and Non Profit Management. She is a CERTIFIED PAYROLL PROFESSIONAL™ and PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES™. She has been advising businesses in accounting, budget and planning, payroll and benefits, and year-end preparation for 25 years. Before starting her own company, she held managerial positions with Coleco Industries in Hartford, Connecticut, and Moore McCormack Resources in Stamford, Connecticut. She is on the Board of Directors of Encore Theatrical Arts Project and the Advisory Board of Western Fairfax Christian Ministries. |

Stephanie Dolan received a Masters in Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Towson University. She is knowledgeable in QuickBooks, Peachtree and Great Plains accounting software as well as Microsoft Office applications. She is experienced in all phases of accounting, including payroll, accounts payable, and treasury and is a skilled problem solver. As the newest member of the SBS team, she will bring her experience as the accounting manager of a multi-million dollar service contract to lead SBS's expansion into the Baltimore, MD market. |

Rita Daly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University in Economics. She has experience with Peachtree and currently coordinates the accounts payables for one of our largest clients. She has 10 years experience working for a leading local restaurant group with diverse responsibilities including wine buying, point-of-sale system maintenance, purchasing, accounting/bookkeeping, general support and training. She also has experience in wine sales and merchandising . |

Cheryl Lenox Studied Business Administration/Accounting at Northern Virginia Community College. She has 25 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience encompasing all aspects of accounting. Her software expertise is extensive and includes QuickBooks, Peachtree, SBT, and EnSite Pro/DDMS accounting programs. Cheryl currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Erin Peterson Fund.

Mary Ann McManamay studied marketing at Radford University. She has 15 years experience in business-to-business marketing serving a variety of industries. She provides support to clients seeking to expand their market share via targeted mail, email, and telemarketing campaigns. Prior to joining Smart Business Services, she held positions with SE Technologies, Ameisegger Business Consulting Services, and Market Connections. Her responsibilities included identifying, developing, and qualifying new revenue opportunities for clients; call center management; and new employee orientation and training. |

Karen Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Minor in Computer Science from Radford University. She has over 23 years of accounting experience with an emphasis in Government Contract Accounting. She has held managerial positions with NCI Information Systems, Irving Burton Associates and LeapFrog Solutions, as well as spending some time as a Systems Consultant with Deltek Systems. She has experience with many different accounting software systems, and has helped businesses to align their reporting systems to industry specific requirements. She is the lead consultant for clients seeking entry or expansion into the lucrative government contracting market. |

Carey Dolan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Degree in Business Administration and has completed coursework in the University of Southern California’s Masters in Public Administration program. He has 30 years of success and experience in sales, marketing, sales management, coaching, and mentoring. He is a trained and experienced prospector, qualifier, negotiator and closer of business. He also understands how to leverage the business of major clients and create strategic account management plans with measurable objectives. He has a track record of consistently improving team results and exceeding sales goals. He is currently employed by Teradata in Federal Government Health Care Sales.
Conor Dolan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Wesleyan College and an Associate’s Degree in Multimedia Design from the Chubb Institute. He has developed websites and print materials for a variety of organizations and handles all of Smart Business Services in-house design. He is employed as a Graphic Designer for a design firm in Alexandria Virginia.
